What are you doing now? I am pursuing my PhD in Animal Science at Texas Tech University, emphasizing in food safety and epidemiology. 

How did the W.D. Farr Scholarship help you achieve your goals? This scholarship has supported my travel and subsistence for a research fellowship in antimicrobial resistance surveillance in Paris, France to perform my dissertation research. Additionally, this scholarship has allowed me to focus on my research and graduate studies without encumbering student loans.    

What is your advice for student to be successful? Find your passion and approach every aspect of your life with enthusiasm.
